National Geographics - Air France contest: one of my pictures was part of the 75 images selected and published on National Geographics and exposed at Air France's HQ.
Passionate about photography since ever I really decided to dedicate myself to it in 2007.
My first step where with film photography but I quickly understood that the digital technique was more suitable to what I was trying to express, even if I still go out with my old Minolta from time to time.
As you can see from my portfolio I’m interested in several aspects of the photography.
I prefer to approach the natural landscape via panoramic views, I find that this kind of image are more impressive and the stitching technique is very interesting to discover and learn. I work a lot on every image, mostly on the light and the colors, in order to make them look like a painting.
I'm also attracted by the graphism of the modern urban landscapes that surround us more and more in the cities, I like to play with lines and reflections in order to obtain abstract images.
Instead of reproducing the reality I prefer to start from a real scene or situation and develop the picture in order to transmit an emotion with it and let the everyone’s imagination do the rest. That’s why I’m recently trying some new lenses that can help me in this direction.
